Built originally in 1925, alongside the historic theatres along South Broadway and known historically as the Case Hotel, EPG spearheaded the 115,000 square foot building's adaptive reuse into a 147-room boutique hotel by Proper Hospitality along with Los Angeles based real estate company the Kor Group and the Alam/Stork Development Group. 

EPG successfully procured entitlements for full-service alcohol and public dancing for two destination restaurants and a roof-top pool with bar-lounge-restaurant. It also successfully represented our client through an appeal of the original decision to ensure the client's approval was upheld. 

EPG worked with architectural firm Omgivning to ensure environmentally sustainable building practices were employed throughout the hotel and EPG's Building representatives remained involved in coordinating construction activities until a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy was issued.
